1. Service description

GradeCoach is an AI-powered academic advisor that helps parents monitor and improve their child's school grades. The service connects to school portals (PowerSchool, Schoology) to retrieve grade data and generates analysis reports.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older and the parent or legal guardian of the student whose grades you are accessing. By using GradeCoach, you represent that you have the legal right to access your child's education records.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must provide accurate portal credentials for the school portals you connect
• You agree not to use GradeCoach to access data of students who are not your children
• One account per household. Multi-student support is available on Premium plans.

4. Free credits and billing

• New accounts receive 3 free report credits
• Grade syncing (pulling data from portals) is unlimited on all plans
• AI-generated reports consume credits or require a paid subscription
• Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. You can cancel at any time.
• Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase if you're not satisfied

5. Data accuracy disclaimer

GradeCoach relies on data from your school's portals. We make reasonable efforts to accurately extract and analyze this data, but we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy. Grade calculations, GPA projections, and recovery recommendations are estimates based on available data.

Always verify critical grade information directly with your child's school or teacher. GradeCoach is an advisory tool, not a replacement for direct communication with educators.

6. Portal access

GradeCoach accesses school portals using credentials you provide. By providing these credentials, you authorize us to access your child's grade data on your behalf. We access only the minimum data needed to provide our service.

School portals may change their interface or restrict automated access at any time. If access is disrupted, we will notify you and work to restore service.

7. Limitation of liability

GradeCoach is provided "as is." We are not liable for any academic outcomes, grade changes, or decisions made based on information provided by our service. GradeCoach is an informational tool — academic decisions should be made in consultation with educators.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, all your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
